About the role
Assist referral surgeons with diagnosis and surgical management of referred orthopaedic cases.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Horsham to find a Veterinary Orthopaedic Intern.
What you will be doing
- Provide perioperative care for surgical patients under the supervision of experienced surgeons.
- Opportunity, to perform parts of routine orthopaedic procedures.
Practice and facilities
- Refurbished rural facility with two operating theatres and an on-site CT scanner.
- Equipped to manage a full range of orthopaedic procedures including THR, TPLO, CUE and arthroscopy.
Team and support
- The team includes specialist surgeons and advanced practitioners who will provide clinical supervision and in-house CPD.
Working pattern
- Fixed-term 12-month internship, full-time working pattern of four days per week.
Location
- Based in Horsham, with good access to local countryside and transport links.
