About the role
Consultations and routine surgery in branch practice.
An established RCVS-accredited multi-branch practice is seeking a full-time veterinary surgeon to work across a local branch and a nearby hospital. Candor Vets is acting as recruitment agency for this vacancy.
What you will be doing
- Hospital-based work and collaborative case management.
- A balance of autonomy in the community and access to hospital support and expertise.
Working pattern
- Full time, with flexible working considered.
- Split between branch and hospital.
- Every other Saturday morning.
- Second-on-call rota (1:15) to support the night and weekend team.
Team and support
- In branch, the post-holder will work in sole charge with support from registered veterinary nurses and reception staff.
- Clinical backup is available from hospital colleagues when needed.
- Access to advanced clinical support and visiting specialists.
- An experienced nursing and support team.
Location
The role is based in Brighton, East Sussex, within easy reach of the South Downs National Park and with good transport links to London and Gatwick Airport.
