Candor Vets is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy small animal practice in Stratford. This is a chance to become part of a friendly and supportive team within a well-established group of primary care practices known for their commitment to high standards of patient care and continuous professional development.
The successful candidate will join a skilled team of veterinary surgeons, many of whom hold various certificates, leading to a diverse and interesting caseload with very few referrals. This means exposure to a wide variety of procedures and advanced nursing techniques. The nursing team is highly skilled, with interests spanning anaesthesia, emergency and critical care, and behaviour, offering ample opportunities for professional growth. Full nurse utilisation is a key aspect of the role, incorporating consults and Schedule 3 procedures into the working day, supported by a wonderful team of Patient Care Assistants (PCAs).
The position includes some out-of-hours work, with a choice between nights or weekends, and would suit a self-motivated RVN keen to develop their skills. A relaxed rota includes 1:13 weekends and 1:10 nights, with a 1:8 Saturday PM rota plus 1:7 Saturday mornings at a branch, depending on requirements. Weekend and night duties are based at the Warwick hospital.
