Information collected through this website

The candidate form collects contact details, professional role, location preference, contact preference, free-text information and a CV where provided or required for an application. A role-specific submission also records the vacancy reference, whether it is a question or application, and any named-role application permission. The practice form collects contact and organisation details, role, employment-type and location information, contact preference and free-text information. The general contact form collects the information needed to answer the enquiry. Each submission receives a reference and records the source page, relevant acknowledgements and timestamps.

How the information is used

Information sent through the website is used to respond to enquiries, discuss recruitment services, understand candidate preferences, prepare vacancy briefs, administer recruitment activity, protect the service and maintain an appropriate record. Optional marketing consent is recorded separately and is not required to make an enquiry.

Candidate enquiries and applications

Sending a general candidate enquiry, CV or question does not apply for a role or authorise Candor Vets to share it with a practice. The separate application route names the vacancy, requires a CV and asks for permission specific to that role before the submission is recorded for review.

Use of software and human review

Software may acknowledge an enquiry, preserve its reference, organise tasks and prompt for missing information. It is not intended to make an unreviewed decision that rejects a candidate, determines suitability or authorises an introduction.

Free tools and calculators

The free calculators operate in the browser and do not require an email address. Figures entered into the locum, job-offer, vacancy-cost and rota tools are not submitted to Candor Vets. The advert checker keeps the pasted advert and selected context in browser session storage only so its separate result page can open; closing the browser session clears that session copy. A saved vacancy search and the vacancy identifiers in your saved-role shortlist are kept in this device’s local browser storage until you remove them or clear site data. The shortlist checks whether those roles remain open when you view it; it is not an application or email subscription. The current salary explorer reads only information already published in live Candor Vets vacancy records.

Storage, recipients and retention

Form information is held using website, database and file-storage services. CV files are stored separately from the form record. Access should be limited to authorised people and approved providers. The final notice will state the relevant recipient categories, transfer safeguards and retention periods after Candor Vets has approved its complete data map.
