A purpose-built veterinary practice in Nottingham is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their nursing team on a permanent, full-time basis. The practice has a varied caseload and a genuine commitment to continuous professional development at every level. You will be working alongside a team of four RVNs and four veterinary surgeons, two of whom are currently studying towards certificates in medicine and surgery. The working pattern is 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 weekends and duty nights on rotation.
This is a purpose-built practice with modern facilities and a team that takes clinical standards seriously. The nursing team is experienced and knowledgeable, and the reception team provides strong day-to-day operational support. The practice invests in CPD and career development at every level, and there is a clear structure for nurses who want to progress.
In Your First Month: You will settle into the team, get to know the facilities, and build working relationships with the vets and fellow nurses.
By Month Three: You will be confidently contributing across the full range of clinical duties and starting to explore CPD opportunities with the support of the practice.
By Month Six: You will be a well-established member of the nursing team, using your skills fully and contributing to the high standard of care the practice is known for.
