About the role
Provide high-quality patient care across consultations, routine surgery and case management.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Walton on Thames, Surrey to find a Veterinary Surgeon.
What you will be doing
- Work closely with the Clinical Director and the wider clinical team to deliver efficient, evidence-based care.
- Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement and patient safety reporting.
- Communicate treatment plans and diagnostic results clearly to clients and obtain informed consent.
Clinical work
- Carry out routine surgical procedures and medical case management appropriate to a first-opinion small-animal practice.
- Maintain clinical standards in line with RCVS requirements and local protocols.
- Meet CPD requirements and share learning with colleagues.
Team and support
- Engage with formal appraisals and ongoing development conversations.
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues where appropriate and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment.
- Participate in practice communications and quality processes.
