Pay: Salary dependent on experience
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, typically worked over four days.
Weekends / on-call: 1 in 8 full weekends on-call at the practice’s central hospital with the following Monday off in lieu; approximately 1 in 14 weeks second on-call (called only if needed).

About the role

Provide high-quality nursing care during consultations and procedures.

Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Lewes, East Sussex to find a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

What you will be doing

Run nurse clinics promoting preventative healthcare and building relationships with clients.
Support clinicians with surgery, anaesthesia monitoring and patient recovery.
Assist with day‑to‑day nursing duties to help the smooth running of the branch.

Working pattern

Permanent position, averaging 40 hours per week, typically worked over four days.

Team and support

Branch-based role with access to wider clinical support from the practice’s central hospital.
Experienced colleagues and certificate holders across multiple disciplines provide clinical mentoring and development opportunities.

Development

Support for continuing professional development including an annual CPD allowance and structured training opportunities.
