About the role
Deliver high-quality patient care across consultations, routine surgery and case management.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Muswell Hill, London to find an experienced Veterinary Surgeon.
What you will be doing
- Work alongside veterinary and nursing colleagues to provide efficient, evidence-based care.
- Obtain informed consent, communicate treatment plans and ensure accurate clinical records.
- Contribute to clinical audits, quality-improvement activity and patient-safety reporting.
Clinical work
- Manage surgical lists, peri-operative care and postoperative follow-up.
- Triage and manage consultations with appropriate diagnostic planning and case management.
- Maintain clinical standards in line with RCVS requirements.
Team and support
- Participate in formal appraisals and development conversations.
- Mentor and coach junior colleagues and contribute to case discussions and shared clinical decision-making.
- Support practice protocols and respond to clinical feedback through established channels.
