Pay: £45,000–£60,000 per year
Working pattern: Four-day week, typically 08:00 to 18:30.
Weekends / on-call: Saturday morning rota currently 1:4 / 2:5 (08:30 to 12:00). No out-of-hours duties and no bank holidays.

About the role

Provide first-opinion care and continuity for patients.

Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Birkdale to find an experienced Veterinary Surgeon.

What you will be doing

Build a client base at the busy Birkdale or Formby site.
Work in tandem with another vet and also work sole charge.

Full-time permanent position; part-time considered.
Four-day working week, typically 08:00 to 18:30.
Saturday morning rota currently 1:4 / 2:5 (08:30 to 12:00). No out-of-hours duties and no bank holidays.
Sound grounding as a first-opinion vet, happy to share knowledge with the team.
Official Veterinarian status is advantageous but not essential.

Team and support

Experienced veterinary team, including certificate holders in ophthalmology and surgery, and an experienced nursing team at an RCVS-accredited nursing training practice.
