Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary group to find a float Registered Veterinary Nurse covering clinics across London and parts of Essex.
Working pattern
- Flexible float role offering 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week according to availability and clinic needs.
- Regular Saturday rotation with an average number of Sunday shifts across the year; Sundays and bank holidays are worked at the nearest 24-hour hospital.
Clinical work
- Provide general day-to-day nursing duties across a variety of clinical environments, from RCVS-accredited hospitals with specialist teams to multi-vet and smaller sole-charge clinics.
- Support clinical procedures, patient monitoring and inpatient care as required by each site.
Team and support
- Work closely with locum/coordinator teams to arrange accessible clinic assignments.
- Assist with reception duties and provide guidance to student nurses when needed.
Development
- Ongoing support for professional development and practical experience across multiple site types.
