About the role
Lead, mentor and manage the nursing team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Ruislip, Greater London to find a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse.
What you will be doing
- Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and best practice.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and other clinical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage stocks of medical supplies and medications.
Clinical work
- Maintain high standards of nursing care across medical, surgical and routine patient duties.
- Ensure the correct use and routine maintenance of clinical equipment and bespoke technology.
Team and support
- Foster a positive, collaborative working environment and support junior nursing staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Practice and facilities
- Work in a brand-new, on-site clinic equipped with bespoke veterinary technology and modern facilities.
