About the role
Deliver high standards of nursing care and welfare for patients.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Wembley to find a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a part-time basis.
What you will be doing
- Assist the veterinary surgeon in theatre and during consultations as required.
- Maintain accurate hospitalisation and patient records.
- Manage stock levels of drugs, diets and consumables and place orders as necessary.
- Provide reception duties when required and support student nurses and clinical support staff.
Working pattern
- Two days per week: Mondays and Tuesdays with 8-hour shifts.
Team and support
- Join an experienced clinical and support team with in-practice mentorship and training.
- The role is suitable for newly qualified RVNs given the available support.
Practice and facilities
- practice clinic with consult rooms, a surgery theatre, dedicated prep area and on-site imaging and dental facilities.
- Staff facilities include a sheltered outdoor area and on-site parking.
Development
- Annual CPD budget and paid CPD days; support with induction and ongoing training.
