About the role
Conduct screening procedures, including auscultation and sample procurement.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in London, Greater London to find a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
What you will be doing
- Monitor general anaesthesia and maintain accurate anaesthetic records.
- Assist veterinarians during invasive and non-invasive procedures and maintain high standards of surgical etiquette and quarantining procedures.
- Administer treatments as directed and record comprehensive clinical notes.
- Maintain cleanliness of clinical workspaces and disinfect surgical rooms and equipment; monitor stock levels.
Team and support
- The practice seeks a Registered Veterinary Nurse with demonstrable experience and a Veterinary Nursing degree or equivalent qualification.
- Nurse consulting experience and confident use of practice management systems are required.
- Experience of general anaesthetic monitoring and strong surgical knowledge are essential.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with initiative and independence.
