About the role
Provide a balanced mix of consulting and surgical work within a combined first-opinion and on-site referral environment.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in London, Greater London to find a Veterinary Surgeon.
What you will be doing
- Deliver at least one dedicated operating day most weeks and manage routine medical cases.
- Take part in regular clinical governance, case review and practice meetings to support standards of care.
Working pattern
- Role based on a four-day week with a set day off.
- Rota includes shared weekend cover and an agreed on-call commitment; full rota details are provided to shortlisted candidates.
Team and support
- Work alongside an experienced, structured nursing team with senior clinical leads.
- Regular case discussion and ready access to referral clinicians for advice and collaboration.
Practice and facilities
- Purpose-built facilities with access to advanced diagnostic imaging and surgical support, and a staffed in-house laboratory.
- Systems and teams in place to support inpatient monitoring and overnight care.
Development
- Certificates are encouraged and funded, with protected CPD and regular in-house learning events to support clinical progression.
