About the role
Deliver high-quality patient care across consultations, surgery and case management.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Muswell Hill, London to find a Veterinary Surgeon.
What you will be doing
- Work closely with the veterinary and nursing teams to provide an efficient, joined-up clinical service.
- Maintain clinical standards in line with RCVS requirements and practice protocols.
- Contribute to clinical audits, quality-improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
Clinical work
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures and manage perioperative care.
- Undertake diagnostic assessments and produce clear, effective treatment plans.
- Provide empathetic client communication and support the practice's membership model.
Team and support
- Collaborate across a multidisciplinary team, sharing cases and clinical learning.
- Support development of colleagues through coaching, mentoring and constructive feedback.
- Assist with accurate charging, appropriate product use and the clinic's commercial performance.
Development
- Maintain and expand clinical skills through CPD and share learning with the wider team.
