About the role
Work in the hospital with an experienced clinical team managing both referred cases from branches and the hospital's own caseload.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Swindon, Wiltshire to find a small animal veterinary surgeon for its Tier 3 hospital.
What you will be doing
- Provide high standard medical and surgical care, with access to advanced imaging and diagnostic facilities.
- Communicate clearly with clients and referring colleagues and contribute to case planning.
Practice and facilities
- Tier 3 hospital within a multi-site independent group.
- Advanced imaging including CT and on-site diagnostic support.
- The practice operates a separate out-of-hours team so the role carries no OOH responsibility.
Team and support
- Work alongside experienced clinicians and senior leaders who provide mentoring and structured career development.
- Active mentoring and a culture of teaching and coaching with accessible clinical support for case discussion.
Working pattern
- The post is available on a full-time or part-time basis and flexible working patterns may be considered.
Development
- Support for study towards further qualifications and extensive CPD where there is a relevant business need.
- Recognition and wellbeing initiatives and formal staff development pathways.
