About the role
Provide high-quality small animal clinical care to a general practice caseload.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Cheadle, Greater Manchester to find a Veterinary Surgeon.
What you will be doing
- Manage cases with team support and during periods of sole charge.
- Participate in occasional evening inpatient duties (typically 17:00–23:00).
- Take part in a weekend rota with time off in lieu.
Practice and facilities
- Access to a Tier 3 hospital and an in-house out-of-hours service for referral and clinical support.
- Availability of advanced imaging and diagnostic services, flexible and rigid endoscopy, and advanced anaesthesia equipment.
Working pattern
- Full time — average four-day working week.
- Some sole-charge shifts required.
Team and support
- Supported by an experienced multidisciplinary, certificate-led referral team and an established clinical support structure.
Development
- Opportunities to develop clinical skills and pursue certificate-level qualifications.
