About the role
Provide general practice consultations and clinical care for small animals.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Petersfield, Hampshire to find a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon.
What you will be doing
- Undertake basic soft-tissue surgery; the role can be medicine/consult-only if preferred.
- Manage consults efficiently and take sole-charge responsibilities when required.
Hours and rota
- Some weekend work, approximately one in 4.5 weekends, with time off in lieu; no night shifts.
Team and support
- Work with an experienced clinical team supported by veterinary nurses and reception staff.
- Clinical mentorship and peer support available for case management.
Practice and facilities
- RCVS-accredited first-opinion practice with a range of surgical and diagnostic facilities, including endoscopy and laparoscopy.
- Access to visiting or specialist services when required.
Location
- Based in Petersfield, set within the South Downs National Park with good road and rail connections to larger centres.
