About the role
Deliver first-opinion small animal clinical care across consultations, routine surgery and case management.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Chelsea, London to find an experienced Veterinary Surgeon.
What you will be doing
- Work collaboratively with veterinary and nursing colleagues to maintain consistent clinical standards and efficient case flow.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement work and patient-safety reporting.
Clinical work
- Provide evidence-based medicine, obtain informed consent and communicate treatment plans and results to clients.
- Maintain clinical records and meet professional standards in line with RCVS requirements.
Team and support
- Report to the Clinical Director and contribute to case discussions and peer learning.
- Support and mentor junior colleagues where appropriate and engage with appraisal and development processes.
Development
- Access an annual CPD budget and allocated CPD days; be proactive about professional development and sharing learning with the team.
Location
- The role is based in central London with good access to local transport links.
