About the role
Provide high-quality clinical care across consultations, routine surgery and case management as a floating surgeon across multiple sites.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in London, Greater London to find a Veterinary Surgeon.
What you will be doing
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, obtaining informed consent and explaining treatment plans and results.
- Contribute to clinical audits, quality-improvement activities and patient-safety reporting.
Clinical work
- Deliver first-opinion consultations and routine surgical procedures with appropriate clinical record-keeping and follow-up.
- Maintain clinical standards in line with RCVS requirements and local clinical protocols.
- Ensure personal CPD requirements are met and share learning with the wider team.
Team and support
- Work alongside veterinary colleagues and nursing teams, reporting clinically to the Clinical Director as required.
- Participate in appraisals and development conversations; provide and accept case support and peer feedback.
Development
- Opportunities for clinical development, mentoring and formal appraisal to support professional progression.
Location
- Floating role covering multiple clinics across the South West and North London; travel between sites will be required.
