About the role
Lead, mentor and manage the nursing team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Candor Vets is working with a veterinary practice in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire to find a Head Veterinary Nurse.
What you will be doing
- Oversee daily clinical and nursing operations, maintaining adherence to best-practice protocols.
- Collaborate with veterinary surgeons and other staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure the correct use and upkeep of medical equipment and bespoke veterinary technology.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of clinical supplies and medications.
Team and support
- Provide line management and clinical leadership for nursing colleagues.
- Promote a positive, collaborative working environment and practical staff support.
Development
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to remain current with veterinary nursing practice.
- Support professional development and progression opportunities within the practice.
