About the role
Provide hands-on first-opinion medicine and surgery while leading the clinical team.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Feltham, Greater London to find a Head Vet.
What you will be doing
- Set and maintain clinical governance and standards across the new surgery.
- Recruit, mentor and develop team members to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
- Build professional relationships with clients and engage with the local community.
Working pattern
- Four 9-hour shifts per week, averaging 39 hours.
Practice and facilities
- Lead a purpose-built, newly opened veterinary surgery and influence clinical protocols and service delivery.
Team and support
- Line-manage and support clinical colleagues with dedicated protected time for administration included within shifts.
- Access to internal leadership training and CPD support.
Development
- Opportunities to shape the practice’s clinical direction and progress into senior leadership roles.
