About the role
Nursing and clinical support across a varied caseload, including dentistry and exotic species.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Barnsley, South Yorkshire to find a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
What you will be doing
- Assist with anaesthesia, theatre procedures and patient care.
- Support the in-house RVN and pet behaviourist with case management.
- Contribute to student training and local training initiatives.
Team and support
- Friendly, close-knit team with supportive reception staff.
- Established mentorship and training for students and new staff.
Development
- Structured continuing professional development with an available CPD allowance.
- Opportunities to develop specific clinical interests and participate in skill-support initiatives.
Hours and rota
- 1 in 4 weekends and duty nights on rotation.
Location
- Based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, with active links to the local community through events and educational work.
