About the role
Provide nursing care across consulting, inpatient and theatre areas.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Doncaster, South Yorkshire to find an Experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse.
What you will be doing
- Prepare patients for procedures, assist in theatre and provide postoperative nursing.
- Support and mentor less experienced nursing staff and student nurses.
Clinical work
- Manage a varied first‑opinion caseload including routine surgery, dentistry and inpatient care.
- Work with the clinical team to maintain standards of anaesthesia, analgesia and patient monitoring.
Working pattern
- Full time role working across the practice’s hospital and branch sites.
Hours and rota
- Full time: 4 x 10‑hour shifts per week (unpaid lunch break).
- 1 in 6 Saturdays (08:00–12:30); no Sundays; no bank holiday working.
- No out‑of‑hours responsibilities; out‑of‑hours cover is provided by an external provider.
Team and support
- The team runs a nurse training programme and provides CPD and development support.
- Opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians with advanced qualifications and access to in‑house training.
