About the role
Work across preparation and theatre to deliver individualised nursing throughout each patient’s anaesthetic, surgical and diagnostic journey.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Godalming, Surrey to find a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
What you will be doing
- Provide peri‑anaesthetic monitoring and surgical nursing for complex orthopaedic and neurological cases.
- Prepare theatre, assist during procedures and support safe, efficient patient handovers.
Team and support
- A structured 12‑week induction with a nursing mentor to guide practical training.
- Quarterly one‑to‑one meetings and an annual appraisal to review progress and objectives.
- A collaborative team of clinical colleagues sharing knowledge and supporting case management.
Development

Hours and rota
- Full-time, 40-hour week.
- Rotating shift pattern with one in four weekends, days off in lieu and participation in the bank holiday rota.

- Clinical work focuses on patients receiving advanced orthopaedic and neurological treatment within a specialist referral setting.
