About the role
Provide ward-based, individualised nursing care for inpatients with complex orthopaedic and neurological needs.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Godalming, Surrey to find a Registered Veterinary Nurse for night duties.
What you will be doing
- Monitor and record observations, administer medications and intravenous fluids, and escalate concerns to the on-site veterinary surgeon.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and contribute to handovers.
Team and support
- Night team includes dedicated nursing and care staff with a veterinary surgeon on-site overnight.
- Full induction, mentoring and ongoing support for the successful candidate.
- Funded CPD and paid professional registration.
Working pattern
- Full-time role working 7 nights on, 7 nights off (Monday–Sunday every other week).
- 12-hour waking night shifts with a paid rest break.
Practice and facilities
- Specialist referral hospital caring for orthopaedic, neurological and dental patients.
