About the role
Oversee inpatient care for patients overnight, ensuring standards of nursing are maintained.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Godalming, Surrey to find a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN).
What you will be doing
- Provide guidance and support to night nurses and veterinary care assistants in clinical and interpersonal matters.
- Liaise with stakeholders as required to manage overnight patient care.
Clinical work
- Deliver and coordinate nursing care for inpatients during the night shift.
- Maintain clinical oversight of the ward and ensure continuity of care between shifts.
Working pattern
- Full-time night role with a rota of 7 nights on, 7 nights off; shifts 19:30–07:30, covering Monday–Sunday overnight.
Team and support
- Lead and support the night nursing team, working closely with veterinary care assistants and other clinical staff.
- The successful candidate will receive training and support to fulfil the coordinatory aspects of the role.

- This role is suitable for an experienced night nurse seeking additional responsibility while continuing inpatient nursing duties.
