About the role
Provide high standards of nursing care and maintain comprehensive patient hospitalisation records.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Ewell to find a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
What you will be doing
- Assist the veterinary surgeon in theatre and during consultations as required.
- Ensure comfort and welfare for all patients in practice care and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Support reception duties when needed, including telephone and email communications.
Working pattern
- Part-time role offering up to 32 contracted hours per week.
- Initial induction includes a day at the supporting 24-hour hospital to prepare for first weekend duties.
Team and support
- Join a busy first-opinion team with senior nursing support, RVNs and trainee nurses available for clinical supervision.
- Opportunity to support and supervise student nurses.
Practice and facilities
- Busy general practice with an open-plan clinical layout and dedicated kennelling and prep areas.
- Supported by a nearby 24-hour hospital for referral and out-of-hours continuity.
Development
- CPD budget and paid CPD days provided; leadership training available for those wishing to progress to senior roles.
