About the role
Participate in the nurse consult rota and conduct nurse consultations as required.
Candor Vets is working with an established veterinary practice in Cobham, Surrey to find a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
What you will be doing
- Conduct screening procedures, including auscultation and sample procurement, and record findings accurately.
- Administer treatments and maintain comprehensive clinical records.
- Assist veterinarians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, maintaining surgical etiquette and infection-control routines.
- Monitor general anaesthesia and keep accurate anaesthetic records.
Clinical work
- Routine nursing, perioperative care and monitoring.
- Tending to unsettled animals promptly and providing high standards of patient care.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure clinical areas and equipment are clean and properly prepared.
Team and support
- Work alongside experienced veterinary professionals in a structured team.
